KO Mouse Model

GTL employs CRISPR-Cas9 technology to perform simultaneous gene editing on both strands of mouse DNA. This approach enables us to directly obtain the desired model from the F0 generation without the need for breeding a second generation of mouse.


Advantages of CRISPR-Cas9 Technology:

  1. High Efficiency: Enables precise genomic editing with exceptional knockout efficiency.
  2. Short Cycle Time: The CRISPR-Cas9 system is exceptionally convenient to construct and implement, significantly reducing experimental complexity and shortening research timelines.
  3. High Chimerism Rate with Stable Germline Transmission: Results in a high      proportion of chimeric F0 mice, with the edited genotype being stably inherited by offspring.
  4. Multiplex Editing Capability: Allows for simultaneous gene targeting at multiple    genomic loci.
  5. Versatile Editing Capacity: Supports a wide range of modifications including large-fragment DNA knockout, knock-in, and conditional knockout operations.
